I’m a wife to Steve, and we’ve been married 40 years this June. (WOW!) We live in the farmhouse that my Great Grandfather built. I help my husband on occasion with farming, and cattle ranching, and his newly established feed business. There’s nothing like the peace and quiet of rural Nebraska living!
I’m a Mom to two grown boys, and two beautiful daughter-in-laws, and five grandchildren. I’ve been a photographer my whole life, but six years ago (since 2017), I decided to start my own photography business. I’m having the time of my life! I love it so much, and probably even more than the photography, I love meeting new people.
My faith in Jesus comes first in my life. I love my church family, and spend spare time serving with my husband as a co-teacher to preschool and kindergarten Sunday school children. There’s not one Sunday that we teach that we don’t laugh about something they say or do. Fun!
I volunteer mentor through the Teammates program in Grant and honestly get more out of it than I put in. (You should volunteer, too!)
I love to cook and try new recipes. I love nothing more than to have my family sitting around my farm table eating a meal together.

PS: Last year, the Lord led my husband and I to be on a team that is working to build a new skilled nursing home in Grant. This has taken much of my free time, but we believe it’s a work of God, and we have His blessing. We’re hoping to break ground yet this year (2023).
